WhatsApp brings in new feature to allow users send photos in their original quality
According to the report, WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to send photos in their original quality.
This will give users more control over the quality of photos they send, especially in situations where sending the photo in its original quality is required, according to wabetainfo in a Friday report.
WhatsApp intends to include a new setting icon in the drawing tool header that will allow users to adjust the quality of any photo.
The feature is currently being developed, and its release is planned for a future app update, according to wabetainfo.
In a previous beta version for Android update, the platform introduced a new feature called HD Photos. This option available within WhatsApp Settings, allowed users to choose a quality configuration for photos they send between “automatic”, “best quality”, and “data saver”.
The best quality configuration, on the other hand, did not allow users to send photos in their original quality because they are simply less compressed. The app’s most recent update is said to resolve the problem.
