India lifting the SAFF Championship 2023 for the 9th time is a huge boostup for the love of Football in India.
Gurpreet Singh Sandhu’s incredible save during the penalty shootout helped India secure their ninth SAFF Championship 2023 title. It was an incredibly exciting match that took place in Bengaluru, Kuwait scored the opening goal then Chhangte from India scored the equaliser and India came out as the winners with a 5-4 victory in the penalty shootout. The game ended in a 1-1 draw even after extra time, bringing down chills for the crowd watching. Both teams showed outstanding defensive abilities, making it challenging for either side to score a goal in the first half. The defenders were doing a fantastic job, preventing any shots from finding the back of the net. Although Kuwait took more shots, India maintained better possession throughout the match.
