Lionel Messi relaxes with his family in the Alps after missing PSG’s cup victory over Pays de Cassel.
Lionel Messi and his family took a break in the Alps after missing Paris Saint Germain‘s 7-0 demolition of Pays de Cassel in the Coupe de France. The 35-year-old was spotted in the mountains with his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, and their three children, Thiago (ten), Mateo (seven), and Ciro (four).
PSG’s forward was given the day off for the team’s French Cup match against Pays de Cassel. As the Messi family was photographed exploring the surroundings and taking in the lavish scenery while also enjoying the outdoor pool, he made the most of the opportunity.
Messi was able to spend time with his wife, whom he met when he was only five years old. In June of 2017, the couple married. Their three sons, Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro, as well as Roccuzzo, were in the stands in Qatar last December when their father lifted the FIFA World Cup for the first time in his career.
He won the tournament’s Golden Ball after scoring seven goals and assisting on three others. He clearly deserved a pleasant holiday with his family. Messi will turn his attention to PSG now that they have taken a break in the Alps. On Sunday, Reims will pay them a visit at the Parc des Princes in Ligue 1. (January 29). The great Argentine is expected to be part of the squad for that encounter.
