This World Cup had to be the most Captivating tournament in the history of the Game. The Whole World supporting for Lionel Messi to win the World Cup. Though Messi won the World Cup , Kylian Mbappe won hearts. He is destined to be the next greatest player and had proven his point in the finals by scoring a hattrick and leading the goal chart with 8 goals to seal the Golden Boot.

Argentina displayed a fantastic first half with Lionel Messi and Angel Dimaria putting the scoreline to 2-0 in the first half. The match was in favour of Argentina until Kylian Mbappe stepped up and equalised leading to Extra Time where Messi scored again to lead 3-2, the match was not yet over as Kylian Mbappe scored a penalty and equalised.

The Match went on to Penalties where Argentina won their third World Cup and Lionel Messi won his first World Cup trophy to end the debate of the GOAT status.

This has to be the most thrilling and iconic world cup final game ever, which will be marked in history.

This had to go to the man who saved Argentina from the Brink of Defeat, Emiliano Martinez won the Golden Gloves in Qatar after keeping three clean sheets on Argentina’s route to glory, while also playing a crucial role in their shoot-out wins in the quarter-final and final.


Silver Boot

Lionel Messi scored seven goals in Qatar and received the Silver Boot, one goal behind Mbappe, with Olivier Giroud receiving the Bronze Boot as the third highest goalscorer.

Lionel Messi was named as player of the tournament – winning the Golden Ball – with Kylian Mbappe awarded the Silver Ball and Luka Modric handed the Bronze Ball for third best performer.
