Cristiano Ronaldo in trouble After obscene celebration in Front of Al Shadab Fans
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Obscene Gesture after Al Shadab Fans chant “Messi, Messi”
Cristiano Ronaldo appears to be generating headlines once more, but for the wrong reasons. The Portuguese forward is in deep water with Saudi supporters and the League after appearing to make an obscene gesture to them following Al Nassr’s 3-2 victory over Al Shadab last night.
Ronaldo, the Saudi Pro League’s leading scorer, opened the scoring for his team with a penalty in the 21st minute. With the help of Brazilian Talisca’s brace, Al Nassr secured the exciting victory.
After the game, the Al Shadab audience chanted “Messi, Messi” at Ronaldo, to which the Portuguese cupped his ear and made the gesture of repeatedly pumping his hand in front of his pelvis area at the opposing fans.
The incident was not caught on television cameras, but some people shot footage from the stands and shared it on social media.

The Saudi Pro League has yet to issue a statement, however Saudi publication Asharq al-Awsat reported that the Saudi Arabia Football Federation (SAFF) has launched an investigation into the inciden
This is not the first time Ronaldo has faced criticism for his celebrations. In April of last year, a similar incident occurred when the Portuguese forward seemed to grasp his genitals while walking towards the dugout following a Saudi Pro League match against Al Hilal, which Al Nassr lost 2-0.
Earlier this month, he picked up an Al Hilal scarf hurled at him from the fans, stuffed it under his shorts, and threw it away as he walked to the tunnel after Al Nassr fell 2-0 in the Riyadh Season Cup final.
Ronaldo was also chastised for a similar pelvic thrust celebration towards Atletico Madrid fans after scoring a hat-trick to eliminate the club from the UEFA Champions League in a return leg during his former stint with Juventus.
Currently, however, Ronaldo continues to excel in the Saudi League, leading the scoring charts with 22 goals in 20 appearances, while Al Nassr is second in the league points table with 52 points, four behind rivals Al Hilal.
